I started by making use of a Toy that I got a few years ago via E-Bay as my main Reference

From there, I made use of an R.C. Car that I got locally

From there, after enlarging a drawing I found online to the correct size, I started work on Scratchbuilding a new body for the R.C. Car that would ultimately become The Interceptor

My apologies for this not being even as accurate a the Toy....my Scratchbuilding Skills (such as they are) were never really the best :-/
Cool, I have the exact same RC Lambo that my nephew doesn't play with anymore, might gut it and turn it into an Interceptor too:) Does yours still drive?
I was very careful to keep the lights more-or-less in their housings until I could not only remove them safely from their old housings, but also put them into the new ones I was making for them
Plus, I made sure to regularly test the Remote function to make sure everything still worked, and as you might be able to tell, the last two photos are with the Lights on as well
Here are a few of the Progress Shots....
