What I will refuse to accept is this shallow concept of each movie being completely separate and a playground for your imagination to insert whatever theory you like. I know this is what Miller wants and it's what makes those movies interesting after all those years

This is exactly the point. It's a conscious artistic and creative decision George Miller made for his movies, especially for the later entries of the series.
And at the same time you blame people, especially forum members, having their own interpretations. Come on.

To this point it's not fully clear which canon you exactly mean, Taipan.

Is it the canon from the comic book ?
or that canon from the computer game, where Max has a daughter instead of a son, as seen in MM1
or another one, maybe YOUR own headcanon ???

There's only the original trilogy canon and Fury Road canon (which includes the comic books). Both are valid.

The game is not canon. That's all there is.

One of the Nuclear Devices struck the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, while it was running an experiment.
This caused the destruction of Forty-Seven and a half other universes (This didn't destroy Half of a universe itself BTW, but Half of everything IN it - Very Messy) and caused the merging of two universes - The Original Trilogy universe and the Fury Road universe.
