Rictus Erectus
Re: Rictus Erectus
Also Joe's face after the baby is still born and Rictus does his little speech to the crowd about having a baby brother. The camera pans down to Joe's face and i interpret the expression as 'oh just shut the F up'
Re: Rictus Erectus
The neat thing about the Rictus character and his child-like antics is it hammers home how important it is for Immortan Joe to spawn a perfect heir. It makes his need to capture the Five Wives all the more critical. You don't really quite get the message with the scenes cut, which is a shame.

Re: Rictus Erectus
Nathan had another couple of scenes, there was one at what we called "the War Rally" scene where we all were cleaning our vehicles, repairing and resting. Rictus holds up the history woman and says something like " Look at the history woman! she won't talk for my dear old dad and now we have to go Round and Round the garden like a Grizzly Bear!!!!"
Then joe starts a chant and we all come up and bow to him then take off into the desert.
they used part of that scene but not all.

Re: Rictus Erectus
Yeah I believe at least part of that is on YouTube as a deleted scene.
Hey Furystunts, would you mind answering a few messages about the cars/bikes via PM if possible?
Unless you're Cameron Manewell or Andrew Rickard, in which case I've probably asked you way too many questions already haha.

"The War Rally" scene while really cool it changes the feel and atmosphere of the movie. Its a bit to chaotic when the rest of the scenes with the armada are much stricter, it looks like something from MM2.

I guess he inherited the disease of his father's that requires breathing gear.scfc68 wrote: And what exactly were those things on his back??

Not exactly. Rictus being part of the wasteland 'royal family' is one of the very few who can afford to breathe clean air.Dinki Di wrote:I guess he inherited the disease of his father's that requires breathing gear.scfc68 wrote: And what exactly were those things on his back??
At last the Vermin had inherited the Earth
Re: Rictus Erectus
While we're on the subject do we think Rictus was unrealistically jacked up, given the setting and circumstances? Does it matter? I mean Nathan Jones is built like a tank but in that wasteland scenario is it believable? I guess we never saw The Citadel's gym with its weights and treadmill. Ultimately thought he looks awesome yes.
Re: Rictus Erectus
George said there was drugs in the silver spray so its safe to assume Rictus and the Imperators are all jacked up on more than just mother's milk. If you've got tumours growing out of you in several places then the side effects of steroids and other drugs aren't going to be high on your list.
