Well, looks like we've got ourselves some Genisys fans over here :)

Not really gonna go into detail why I didn't like that movie at all, my opinion would be in line with most critics and its 25% Rotten Tomatoes rating anyway, so there's that.

What I REALLY didn't like, however, and I have to mention this:
The movie tried to be T3 'funny'. Just... no. The franchise started off as a borderline horror flick. Now it became a parody of itself. There's "Cops" theme playing with Arnie smiling ffs.

LOL.

i KNOW it was panned. i still enjoyed the hell out of it. i hate t3, so naturally i was not a fan of the obvious t3 style funny stuff.

i dont think i'll ever get over john connor being the big bad after spending so long being the key to defeating skynet.

I went to see Terminator but ended up going to Fury Road again, same thing happened with Jurassic Park. I still haven't seen either yet.

To be fair only the original Jurassic Park and the new movie Jurassic World had dinosaur cloning. The Lost World was about harvesting dinosaurs that had already established themselves and lived wild on a second abandoned island. Technically only a single Trex escaped and ran amok in the city. The rest were deliberately released before they could be transported and none were cloned. 3 was merely a rescue mission on the island of wild dinosaurs and they never escaped to run amok anywhere.

That said, I only saw three movies of 2015. Jurassic World, which was fun yet boring. Krampus, which was surprisingly good and was exactly like something from my 80s childhood. Obviously Fury Road is the third and wins without breaking a sweat. I didn't expect to praise it so much, never mind love it so far and beyond anything of the last few decades.

I'm afraid that the only things I've seen at the cinema this year was Fury Road (four times) and some classic stuff that a local film club puts on ... I caught the blockbusters thanks to a pirating co-worker, and TBH was glad I hadn't spent money on them! (Spy was kinda funny though)

I'm looking forward to seeing Suicide Squad and Deadpool, and will be going to see The Force Awakens soon, so 2016 is already shaping up to be a more mixed new movie year, lol

I think a lot of the years releases were underwhelming

The Force Awakens, Spectre and Jurassic World all had their moments but were somehow unsatisfying

Terminator Genisys is awaiting a viewing on bluray..but I expect the worst so may end up actually liking it

Everest was downright diabolical.

Fury Road aside, I have to say Legend was perhaps the best.

THE REVENANT and BONE TOMAHAWK were the only two movies of 2015 that even came close to the awesome that was FURY ROAD.
