Well, looks like we've got ourselves some Genisys fans over here
Not really gonna go into detail why I didn't like that movie at all, my opinion would be in line with most critics and its 25% Rotten Tomatoes rating anyway, so there's that.
What I REALLY didn't like, however, and I have to mention this:
The movie tried to be T3 'funny'. Just... no. The franchise started off as a borderline horror flick. Now it became a parody of itself. There's "Cops" theme playing with Arnie smiling ffs.
Jurassic Park - humans clone dinosaurs which escape and run amok
The Lost World: Jurassic Park - humans clone dinosaurs which escape and run amok
Jurassic Park III - humans clone dinosaurs which escape and run amok

To be fair only the original Jurassic Park and the new movie Jurassic World had dinosaur cloning. The Lost World was about harvesting dinosaurs that had already established themselves and lived wild on a second abandoned island. Technically only a single Trex escaped and ran amok in the city. The rest were deliberately released before they could be transported and none were cloned. 3 was merely a rescue mission on the island of wild dinosaurs and they never escaped to run amok anywhere.
That said, I only saw three movies of 2015. Jurassic World, which was fun yet boring. Krampus, which was surprisingly good and was exactly like something from my 80s childhood. Obviously Fury Road is the third and wins without breaking a sweat. I didn't expect to praise it so much, never mind love it so far and beyond anything of the last few decades.
I'm afraid that the only things I've seen at the cinema this year was Fury Road (four times) and some classic stuff that a local film club puts on ... I caught the blockbusters thanks to a pirating co-worker, and TBH was glad I hadn't spent money on them! (Spy was kinda funny though)
I'm looking forward to seeing Suicide Squad and Deadpool, and will be going to see The Force Awakens soon, so 2016 is already shaping up to be a more mixed new movie year, lol
