So we're at the point where we are counting screentime and single words..!? Really..?
The discussion about Max is getting more and more absurd...
I'm totally fine with his presence in Fury Road and I really don't need a Dominator-i'll be back-Uberhero in a Mad Max movie. And Max never was this kind of hero.
There are certain trademarks what makes a real Mad Max movie:
an authentic postapocalyptic world licenced by George Miller, crazy souped up cars, spectacular stunts and chase scenes, a mad anti-hero,
strong female characters, even strong disabled/handicapted characters, memorable and charismatic villains, weird character names (including cars),
tons of easter eggs and nods to the old films, a special kind of humor and last but not least a misfiring shotgun

Re: Fury Road Sequel - The Wastelands
Regarding lines and single words. Some a-list actors actually have dialogue rewritten so they have the same/more lines than other actors. They take it -very- seriously.

And amazingly enough Mad Max still managed to be about Max.Turbofurball wrote:Interesting Mad Max fact #569821:
Max gets more time on screen in Fury Road than in Mad Max 1.
Weird, huh?
