H&K duo of MP5K-PDWs

Post by metalwarriormax »

I was wondering if you have been able to spot a reference to a gun manufacturer in the original trilogy (I bingewatched it yesterday and could not)...
Speaking of the H&K duo of MP5K-PDWs in FR

It seems that its the 1st time in the MM universe that a gun brand (or model type) is called in by character...I have seen gun brands/types referenced by actors in other films many times, with dialogue exposition nonetheless (James Bond PPK comes to mind).... but never in this fashion, and it was the only time in the entire film...a brushstroke...genius

I think they were trying to emulate the Nightriders rant from MM1 , that's what it reminded me of " I am the conductor of the choir of death " - " I am a fuel injected suicide machine "

it links, in some way, from that perspective...thanks for the input

I do like the FR scene much better though...I am on my seventh end to end view, and that one scene still raises the hair on body, and has me repeating those lines in my head during the day

I wonder if those prop guns are making it into ebay

Also, Bullet Farmer's pre-pockyclypse name is Kalashnikov, so "brothers" Heckler und Koch make sense.

Real life Kalashnikov = the guy who made AK-47.

Yup, Major Kalashnikov in the comic universe, and Lieutenant-General for The Soviet Union....no wonder the Russian name...had no idea he created the AK...more trivia, better universe.

"A Kalashnikov rifle is any one of a series of automatic rifles (i.e., the AK-47, AK-74, etc.) based on the original design of Mikhail Kalashnikov."

AK-47's AKA is Kalashnikov..hilarious

Also is pretty cool that he refers to himself as the scales of justice after being blindfolded for losing his sight...blind justice...

The more one explores this movie, the better it gets

sweet!
