I'd rather Miller not to direct a comic book movie. There are too many of those, all of them are blatant cash grabs, none good film making.

He'd already made scripts for Fury Road sequels, I think he should ride on that.

Hi Taipan! I see your point, but Miller could make a great comic book movie. He's my favorite filmmaker, the more he does the better. He should try it all, if anyone can pull it off it's him. :)

Did you enjoy the first Man of Steel?

To me it stood out as a poor imitation of Nolan's approach to comic book movie making, except it never brought anything new to the table. I stick by my guns, Miller should advance with Mad Max sequels instead of catering to comic book audience.

I thought MAN OF STEEL was ok, nothing special. But Miller didn't direct it. He could do something great with it.

We're being bombarded with comic book movies these days. Maybe I'm too old now, but I'm getting tired of all of them...and this is coming from a man who grew up on Batman and Spiderman. They've already dumped Andrew Garfield for the next Spiderman for someone else...so is that a reboot on a reboot? Jesus, when does it end?

IMHO, Man of Steel was the same crap we've seen over and over...people being thrown through buildings, etc.
The only part I liked was when young Clark was experiencing his x ray vision for the first time and he was freaking out.
Though I thought the guy playing adult Superman was alright.

+1 on Miller sticking with Max....him doing MOS 2 will just delay future Max installments, which is a crime against humanity! :D

Yeah and as discussed many times around here, he's getting old. A delay could turn into never.

Thing is when successful creative people like him are nearing the end of their careers, they seem to often get urges to do things unlike what they've done before.

*Super hero movies. Comic books aren't always about super heroes ... and yes, I'm also getting a bit fed up with super hero movies.

Still, if anyone can pull DC's shared universe out of it's quagmire of dark and grittyness it's Miller, his Justice League concepts looked promising.

*cough*RidleyScott*cough*

...except that he can't pick a good screenwriter if his life depended on it.
