Joe chanting to himself

After Max convinces Furiosa and The Vuvulani to turn back to The Citadel, we cut to Joe and his War Boys who seem to be having a rest. Joe is stood up aqnd appears to be doing some of kind of humming chant to himself. At least i assume it's Joe as i can't see anyone else with an instrument (it almost sounds like a didgeredoo) and i guess Joe is doing it using his face apparatus. It's a weird little bit right? Almost humourous it seems, it is a strange moment but something i love. Just wanted to throw it out there as another wonderful weird Millerism.

He's singing to himself, it sounds resonant because of the mask. The thing he's holding is a sceptre (incidentally, owned by the actor as it's a family heirloom), which also features in one of the deleted scenes.

Singing / chanting. I wonder what it is he is singing. Yeah I didn't think he was necessarily using the sceptre as an instrument, hopefully my post didn't give that impression. It is mildly amusing as the thing he's singing is almost jolly sounding.

Which supports my theory, people who do a lot of chanting have tyrannical tendencies.

People who do a lot of chanting have tyrannical tendencies? So for example Native American chanting = tyrannical tendencies? I'm not sure that's right and probably a bit of a generalisation.

I've also got a few theories regarding people who misspell generalization.

We did a lot of behind the scenes drama classes we called "Dramaturgy" and each of us had to make up our own back story and names.
We all got together to rehearse the war rally that didn't make the movie , we sang children's nursery rhymes and did chanting to become a close group.
The depth that they went to in prepping us and the vehicles was amazing.

And that's what makes all the difference ... compared to most action films where henchmen are all just faceless clones, having each one be distinct and a character in their own right makes it all feel far more immersive!

It depends on where in the world you are as to how you spell that. I'd have got my knuckles wrapped for putting a z into words like Americans do. The Queen's English is "generalisation".
