Oh hell I just remembered...
It's not the 'best' reference out there, in fact it's the complete opposite.
Fury Road inspired a videoclip by David Guetta & Nicki Minaj feat. some pop abominations, so if you feel like seeing this bootleg ass Fury Road on a shoestring budget then here it is:

This is what happens when Fury Road gets thrown in the cogs of the music industry, just look at those clowns LOL.

Yeah I saw that. But the developers did say that the dog can't die. So that's cool. I got really attached to him in Fallout 3.TheWarriorMax wrote:It's not the same breed in Fallout 4 though, looks like a German Shepherd.RedHotRyder wrote:The game "Fallout" had you wandering the wasteland with your trusty dog. This was a nod to the Road Warrior by the game developers.
Fallout 4 comes out in November and the dog returns.

Ooh, just remembered - Carmageddon TDR2000 (the third Carmageddon game) has a BoB in it, and one of the levels has bits of the MM2 Compound.
Not sure I agree with all of those ... The Postman doesn't even have any cars in it, or any shots or scenarios from the MM films, for instance. It's post-apocalyptic, but that's it.Uncle Entity wrote:Hokuto No Ken - smash hit all around the world, in Italy people know Ken, not Max (sadly).

I agree on The Postman, and whatever you think about the movie, the book was better. The movie only covered about half of what the book does and it has some surprises the movie doesn't even hint at.

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Two well-known mid eighties music videos, 'Don't Lose My Number' by Phil Collins, and 'Wild Boys' by Duran Duran have overt references to MM2.
