Your thoughts on Mad Max 5 (SPOILERS!)

I don't know if we should continue with spoilers in this thread, but I'll just say that gang doesn't seem strong enough. I think they are supposed to be relatively weak but survive by mostly staying high up in the mountains.

I can't imagine (if there will be another movie) that Max is going to stay, he sure looks like he's leaving, as usual. So no more Furiosa in the sequels (unless they make a film just for her, which could be cool imo)

The next one is supposed to be called "Furiosa" and Miller sait it will be a movie about her story, a prequel...

They should leave "Mad Max" title out of Furiousa movie imo.

I really want to see the prequel of Fury Road telling the story of Max but it seemed they made it for the comic book.

I'd like to see more action from the Interceptor as the prequel tells the story of how Max got the engine for the Interceptor SPOILER (him being pissed off everytime he sees the Silver Interceptor) through Thunderdome Plus.

Cant say personally, id be particularly interested in another film focusing just on Furiosa's story but it would surely have to feature Max seeing as Hardy say's he's down for 3 x more movies. It could feature Max in the sense that Max could have a parallel story to Furiosa without the characters actually meeting, and (my opinion of a
prequel instantly changes as I type this) this gives every opportunity to see the Interceptor active for the whole film. I can't see it not having Max in; I just don't think it's a strong enough franchise to start breaking off with spin offs ala X-men, especially one's not featuring the main character. If Miller makes a prequel of Furiosa's story, how far does he go back?? Does he start with her abduction as a child? This rules out Theron & Hardy unless they split the movies in 2 halves??

My feeling is we will get a relatively straightforward sequel in the end.

A question on that other gang that I thought could feature more in a sequel, The Buzzards; are they separate from the motorcycle gang or are they another faction of their own? I'm presuming separate as the bikie's spoke English unlike The Buzzards??

IMO, Furiosa's story is over and completed. She is the leader of the Citadel. Trying to go from there would just make another Aunty Entity of her.
Also, prequel is not exactly fit for a full movie, as we know how it starts (abduction) and ends. Whats between that is probably just lots of psychological turmoil on her part: how do I escape? when do I escape? do I take the vives? Not too interesting for a full feature.

On the other hand, I want to know more about Max, his world, his story, and whodafuk are those flashback people!?!?

Well, logic would say that the next film would be totally different altogether, and with Miller's awesomely playful use of continuity, we could even have the BoB again.

But in truth, how do you "top" Fury Road? What I suspect, is that we'll get a Thunderdome type movie that has only one chase sequence. Like others have said, I would love to see Max in some sort of city...

Considering Miller has said the sequels would focus on Max and Furiosa returning. Continuity wise, I believe he'll stick to one for all 3 movies given how fresh they would be for people and if FR is a success and with the game and books out the franchise and brand would be revived and audiences would expect continuity.

Again, there's no way he would of tied Fury Road to the continuity of something that happened 30 years ago and has been dead since which a lot of people today don't even know existed even when ascended to pop culture. This isn't Star Wars.
