Also, Imperator Furiosa - she's some kind of commander in Immortan Joe's army right? That's my take away from the 50 millionth viewing of the trailer...
My own view is that this is non-diagetic, meaning that it is not present in the scene. I think they've added that sound so we have an understanding of what is going on. Personally, I think it is from the intro which we obviously won't see in the trailer.
That's a fair observation, although he is clearly standing there with some sense of purpose, i.e. listening to something. I find myself being intrigued by the smaller moments in this footage. I spent ages yesterday reading and wondering about the tattoos on his back and looking for the subtle references back to the original trilogy.

I too wonder what he's doing up there: at first I thought he was pissing lol, I've thought he might looking at a photo of his family, he could be looking at a map..

I feel the same. Someone else did post what it all said and it was his blood type, genitals intact, piss okay, road warrior, pyschotic and stuff - he's some sort of donor apparently. I found that all rather strange to be honest. Despite that, it can't just be me who thinks this world seems less dangerous than Road Warrior lol. Had he been caught by Humungus' gang, he would certainly have been burnt alive or come to some horrible end. And Toe Cutter's gang? Well, he'd probably have been raped and beaten to death lol.

When FR was in development hell for years, there was a rumour that the film was set 200 years in the future and pure breds were the new guzzoline, what the gangs were fighting over.
Maybe, part of that 2003 film plot now exists in this version?

Wow...wasn't Thunderdome set sometime in the 2020's. For some reason, I remember the inscription on the wall in Crack in the Earth having a date somewhere around 2018...but I'm totally guessing here...

Its got to be a much less dangerous world - especially when it comes to gang violence - when the movie is PG-13.

That depends on whether you think dying a relatively quick death in battle is worse than spending the rest of your short, miserable like as a tortured slave or organ/body part donor.

Does anyone look like being capable of performing these operations though?? It's a given that the donor is left to die with no concern for sepsis, shock etc?? But would the recipients survive such complex surgery in such times??

The bit about genitals really disturbs me, didn't somebody say there was a character with both male & female things? If so, would that be mutation or modification??

Just imagine, Doctor Wez will be operating today :)

Though not listed on IMDb, Angus Sampson apparently plays someone who goes by the name "Organic Mechanic". Then there are all those medical kits from the leaked photos.

So yeah, I'd say there's a surgeon of sorts in the movie.
