Tossed a few emails back and forth and Richard offered to build me one. The radio was one part of my build that I wasn't quite happy with, but now it'll be awesome.
Thank you Knight0354 for the help in making this happen.

Re: my Jim Goose tribute bike
The message kicked back and said try again later. That's a bit odd, but I'll try again.

Re: my Jim Goose tribute bike
I don't see where he's selling them, but the video description gives you a lot of info on how to build one. Very cool!
I did the same thing with my cut down 70's CB, in that it plays MP3's. Not nearly as clean and screen accurate though.

Awesome looking radio. I certainly would have gone with that if I could have found one.

Re: Goose Tribute bike project back on track
It's 100% finished as of today. I finally got weather warm enough to de-rust the inside of the tank and I put on the edge trim. It starts right up. so I guess I'll take it for a ride this week. Seems a shame to get it dirty though.....

Re: Goose Tribute bike project back on track
We made a lot of progress this weekend on the build. No major issues moving forward. Everything fit up and all electrical accessories worked. The radio plays the MFP radio Chatter mp3. I still have to fabricate some lower brackets, clean the rust out of the tank, and get some additional fasteners. I...

Very nice. I wish I'd gone with that tail section. The paint work looks great.

Re: Goose Tribute bike project back on track
I got looking into the 4 into 2 crossover exhaust. It seems like PMC in Japan was the last company to make the Jardine style crossover pipes that were likely the ones in the movie. PMC doesn't seem to offer them anymore and when they did they were pricey. I've been working on this project 5 years no...

Re: Goose Tribute bike project back on track
No, I'm happy enough with the exhaust pipes as they are. Just about everything I see out there for a '77 is 4 into 1 pipes. I like the standard 2 muffler look, which is also screen accurate-ish. I'm leaving the sound baffles in, because I enjoy my hearing. I've tried to keep it faithful to the origi...
