Here's the thing. Miller is his own man. He's not going to change a story so that one very tiny bit of the movie going public can get their rocks off on a cool car. Lots of fans think they know what they want. But that's usually more of the same. Miller wants to try new things and tell new stories....

There should be a petition sent to Miller so he sees how many fans want to see the Interceptor.

I'm just guessing, but hopefully we'll see it again in the sequel. Max in the Interceptor is just such an integral part of Mad Max iconography and lore, I cant believe they'd just drop it. I do not understand why Miller would do that as I remember many people complained about the absence of the car in Thunderdome. I mean it is prominently shown in the movie poster!

Why oh why was the interceptor destroyed so early in the film?!!! I was expecting some scenes of Max living in the wasteland with the FORD FALCON!!!!
