Re: R.I.P. Hugh Keays-Byrne

Gutted to hear this. I think this clip should be played at every cinema before a film. A great loss.

Uk Mad Max Full Day Screening

Hi, I've had a quick scan but can't see anything about this. All four films being screened in Bradford this Saturday 27th April for those interested. Starts at 12.45hrs and you can buy a day pass for £28 or just pay for individual films. I have nothing to do with it, just giving the forum a heads up...

Calling UK fans

Haven't been on here in a long time but had to let you know that Fury Road is showing at the Media museum Bradford in the newly reopened digital IMAX in 3D. I went with my wife last night and it was absolutely stunning. The sound was the best yet and the picture crystal clear. If you're anywhere nea...

Blunderdome help required

Help. Having watched the proper Mad Max films recently, my wife now wants to watch a film called Thunderdome. How do I talk her out of it? Btw. I managed to scare my 7 year old by letting him watch Mad Max. Poor wee fella went to bed with an image of Cundollini's hand! What sort of parent am I. *Ha...

The Punisher

Yes, it's ripped a load of films off, but surely that's a tribute to all the films we love. There wer...

Twisted Theory

Hi Pulse. The first time I saw RW was in the cinema and the cinema was playing Mad Max and RW one after the other all day. The only trouble was we all met at the pub first to go. As you can imagine, getting 20 bikers out of a pub to go to the cinema together is a mammoth task and as you'd imagine, ...

What does Mad Max mean to you?

When you hear "Mad Max" what do you think of. Do you think of a) Mel Gibson b) Mad Max the whole film c) Mad Max 2 d) Thunderdrone e) Mad Max 1+ 2 together or f) All 3 movies together For me Mad Max instantly conjures up the whole of 1+2 together, it's more than just a character. What abo...
