Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles

"Mother Nature" does not injure wildlife habitats in the ways that human activities do. please. that is an ignorant statement. storms, lightning strike fires and floods kill thousands of wildlife in their habitats every month worldwide. often those events create massive changes in how ani...

Re: release date grrrrrrrrrr

It will be quite interesting to see the cross marketing of Fury Road. I have no doubt they will market it to a younger age group than whatever it's rating. I am sure they will slap the logo and name on every conceivable piece of merchandise they can, little of which will have anything to do with th...

Re: Tom Hardy as MAX

"The first part of the film will be a re-telling (ie: reboot) of the stories we already know, condensed. Then the new story will continue" This would be great! ! And with flashbacks thruout We could get alot of gaps filled,,,interceptor conversion, Dog,, Goose funeral,, why bruce spence i...

Re: Tom Hardy as MAX

Be cool to have the logo kind of pop on the screen like the beginning of The Road Warrior. I hope this movie pays homage to the first two. There were so many great concepts in the first two movies that could be used and expanded upon. I bet we see touches of this.

Re: No dog?

I had brought this up early on. Dog was Max's partner, someone he could trust more than any person. The monkey kinda filled the same job. It would seem more like the Max we know if he had an animal partner more than a person. "Dog" in his own way became iconic. Just like The Road Warrior....

Re: Fury Road will either be a blockbuster or a bomb.

... Apparently it's an old Mel Gibson movie that I haven't seen... This is something I've run into a lot lately when I try to tell people about the new film. I'm astonished at the number of people who claim they've never even heard of Mad Max or The Road Warrior. Compare that to Star Wars (or Star ...

Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles

I'm astonished at the number of people who claim they've never even heard of Mad Max or The Road Warrior. Haven't really encountered that myself. However, I've been scanning Mad Max related tweets for some time now and I'm surprised at the number of first time Mad Max viewers who call it boring or ...

Re: Fury Road will either be a blockbuster or a bomb.

It will sink like a stone at the box office if it's released as an R. As much as I'd love an adult version of Max for the 21st century, as stated before, Dredd proved there's no money to be made releasing it for a niche audience. Fast and The Furious movies have proven there's a huge audience for f...
