Thanks Max Replica! I only took two pics so I really wouldn't be able to make a better tutorial than the one you already have up. I did add the buckles on the front. I kept as much as the original strap and added my own straps on the inside of the boot. I matched them as close as I could to the orig...

Congrats TK4013! Costume looks awesome! I did the same thing with the white hair streak on mine; used the mirror and put it on the wrong side. BTW, your wife is a hottie, you lucky dog, you. "nudge nudge, wink wink"

@RoadWarrior101 I installed some mods so I could extract the model from Fallout and import it into 3DSMax. Took some orthographic renders to use as my blueprint then some 3in. I hear ya. Didn't realize how expensive this hobby was when I started. I don't think I'd even attempt a WWII costume, hope yours goes well. Thanks for the comment
