Sadly Justin Costello who posted this topic suddenly passed away over the weekend. He was a very talented costume maker and cosplayer. On the occasions my sons and I got to speak and meet with Justin we found him to be a extremely nice guy. Very sad to hear of his passing.

No, it's not like the one in phantasm. Their side by side. Max's is opposite. Like putting one set of shotgun barrels on top of the other and welding them together. Length wise it is similar to the others from previous films.

Welcome aboard JZero. I can't name people working on the film, surely you can understand that. You can choose to believe it or not, that's up to you. Just what I was told. Guess we will all find out when the film is released.

I've heard from a reliable source that max's sawnoff will return and is now a "Quad barrel shotgun". Two sets of barrels joined together and made with various other parts, totally scratch built and not a standard run of the mill firearm. A very different and interesting concept, can't wait...

Looking again at the new pic and noticed that it looks very similar to Kevin Costner in The Postman. Does anyone else get the same vibe.

Sorry I can't say who the owner is but it is defiantly not mel. You are spot on about it should in a museum, but I doubt it will ever get seen as the owner is quiet protective of it all, which is a shame.
